Apps to Organize Your Life: What Durham Tech Faculty & Staff Love!
Life can be unorganized, and with all the digital options out there, choosing productivity and other helpful "life" apps can almost be an additional burden. In order to help narrow down a huge playing field, the library asked Durham Tech faculty and staff what their favorite productivity apps are for managing their time and life. Loaner AND Keeper Chromebooks (and Calculators and Portable Monitors): Digital Champion Grant Update
In December 2025, the Durham Tech Library began distributing "keeper" Chromebooks to qualifying students as the final part of our NC DIT Digital Champion Grant. Our first sixteen students who have picked up their keeper Chromebook (and the others who have qualified) expressed interest in the program on their intake or renewal form, demonstrated need by borrowing a loaner laptop for two terms or more, and met progression goals according to their program. Celebrating OER Week at Durham Tech
March 6-10 is Open Education Week! Open Educational Resources (OER) are high-quality educational materials that are available for free in the public domain and can be retained, reused, revised, remixed, and redistributed under Creative Commons licensing.
