Apps to Organize Your Life: What Durham Tech Faculty & Staff Love!
Life can be unorganized, and with all the digital options out there, choosing productivity and other helpful "life" apps can almost be an additional burden. In order to help narrow down a huge playing field, the library asked Durham Tech faculty and staff what their favorite productivity apps are for managing their time and life. Some almost across-the-board similarities were an ability to sync between devices and between platforms. Cloud-based storage and collaboration was also key. Calendar
Take a book with you on vacation!
Here are some brand new books that you can check out from the library this week or next week. Our new book shelf is stocked with many new fiction and nonfiction titles for you to borrow. Please note that the library will be closed Aug. 3 - Aug. 9th. We'll open again on Aug. 10th. Happy summer reading!
Loaner AND Keeper Chromebooks (and Calculators and Portable Monitors): Digital Champion Grant Update
In December 2025, the Durham Tech Library began distributing "keeper" Chromebooks to qualifying students as the final part of our NC DIT Digital Champion Grant. Qualifying students turned in their loaner

Whether you're working towards your last research assignment of the semester, starting your first big research paper, or somewhere in between, we can help! Keep reading for some tips and tricks from your Durham Tech Librarians about researching and keeping your sources organized (which will make writing your paper

Smarter in Seconds: Pronouns, What are pronouns? (30 sec.) The language we use to speak to and about others matters. Using gender-inclusive language and a person’s correct name and pronouns demonstrates kindness, respect, and inclusivity. People can make assumptions based on a person’s name or appearance
