The Library and Student Government Association are pleased to host a Constitution Day event on Monday as part of Durham Reads Together. Event Details: Mon. Sept. 18, 2017 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Constitution Day Read-in with students, faculty, administration, and staff. Pick up a free copy of the US Constitution, register to vote, color at the craft table, win cupcakes at our trivia contest, and learn about the Constitution on the Main Campus plaza. We are happy to say that the ERC library computer lab is now up and running again, as of Wednesday afternoon 1/11. This lab is open to all current Durham Tech students (current Durham Tech ID required) doing academic work.
Have you signed up for Durham Tech's First Virtual Open House? The 3-hour event will take place on Wednesday, June 2 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm and will provide information on College Admission, Financial Aid, Career Services, Student Support Services, and various other areas of the college. There are several movies and TV shows coming out this spring based on books. Several book adaptations have been released as TV series or films earlier this year as well. It can be really enjoyable to read the book and watch the show or movie. So far, I've watched The Plot Against America, Killing Eve, and Normal People. I'm currently reading Just Mercy and then plan to watch the film. Little Fires Everywhere is in my book stack to read, and I want to watch the show as well.
