You may be familiar with Films on Demand, a streaming video platform with thousands of educational videos. In January of 2015 we announced this new service for the Durham Tech community. On March 7 Films on Demand added over 100 new films to Durham Tech's collection. The main campus library of Durham Tech has a copy of the Durham-Orange Light Rail Project's Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS)--book and DVD--at the circulation desk and it is available for use within the library. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is accepting comments during a 45-day period, which ends on October 13, 2015. The library recently added many new feature films and documentaries to our collection. You may check out two movies at a time for one week with your library card. Just a reminder that Durham Tech will be closed Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 23-25. The Main Campus Library will close at 1:00 on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Fall classes start on Monday, August 16, which means next week is Fall Semester Preparation Week! The Library (and the College with the exception of the Bookstore) will be closed to students on Monday, August 9 for professional development.
