Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologists and Technicians read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components.
The ATI TEAS exam is designed to assess a student's aptitude for success in a nursing program. Students must achieve a minimum ATI TEAS score to be eligible for admission into a nursing program. Scores older than 3 years will not be accepted.

The LPN to ADN transition track is designed to allow currently Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to further their education to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in three semesters.
Workforce Development (HRD) courses provide skills assessment, employment skills training, and career development and enhancement. The courses are offered in short sessions to equip students with the knowledge, values, and practical skills essential to applying for, keeping, and advancing in their jobs.
The Community Health Lab allows students and supervising practitioners to travel where health care is most needed. With the support of Blue Cross NC, Durham Tech is able to scale its efforts by routinely providing services to low-income children throughout Durham and Orange counties.
The Elementary Education Residency Licensure Certificate prepares students with the skills required to work in the elementary education field.
Campus Police and Public Safety provides 24-hour-a-day patrol protection for the College’s buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
