It's time for another make-at-home Crafternoon adventure! The Student Government Association and the Library are giving out tie dye kits to current students, which include three colors (blues, yellows, and reds), gloves, and some rubber bands. You'll provide your own shirt, bag, pants, scarf, hat, whatever you want to dye (in cotton, polyester, or blended fabric). NC LIVE recently announced the addition of 495 titles to its HomeGrown e-books collection. The new titles come from five publishers, including The University of North Carolina Press. The HomeGrown collection has grown to include 3,600 e-books, which are hosted on the BiblioBoard platform. They are organized into "curations": fiction, nonfiction and young adult/juvenile titles. This database offers job and industry profiles, job hunting and workplace skills, career exploration and industry resources all in many formats, from streaming video to chat. If you want, you can create a personal login and save content to your own folder. On March 31 st, the transition to New Quizzes in Canvas officially kicked off with activation of the new quizzing engine in your Practice Course. That week, Instructional Technologies also offered Canvas New Quizzes: Bootcamp sessions to help introduce New Quizzes.
