National Society of Minorities in Hospitality

Innovate Carolina Junction
Durham Tech has partnered with UNC-Chapel Hill to have office and meeting space inside the Innovate Carolina Junction in downtown Chapel Hill. The Junction is home to the Orange County Office of Durham Tech's Small Business Center and serves as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development.

Advance Auto Parts Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Advance Auto Parts, Inc., a leading automotive aftermarket parts supplier, has announced a $125,000 gift to Durham Tech Foundation aimed at providing financial support to Durham Tech Community College’s automotive systems technology program. 
News: Durham Tech takes first place in national NASA competition
The Programmabulls, as the Durham Tech student group is known, won first place in the Physical Team competition at the 2018 NASA Swarmathon, a three-day robotics event at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on April 19. The prize included a $5,000 check and trophy.

When the Durham Technical Community College Foundation was established in 1984, its first priority was to raise funds to support students. In those early years, this effort was focused on securing sources of funding for scholarships. In 1991, the Foundation began hosting what has become a signature event: the Annual Scholarship Breakfast.
