The library has a display on the lower level of medical memoirs written from the perspective of patients, nurses, doctors, and health care workers. We also feature a few related DVDs as well. A few of these titles are at the Orange County campus. Just let us know if you want to have a title sent over to your campus. Each June, the library celebrates the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities by highlighting resources in our collection. We have recently added several new DVDs and books at Main Campus Library! Quick note: The Durham Tech Main Campus Library will close from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 8 for a College-wide staff training. Thinking about coming to the book club? There's still time! The Durham Tech Library Book Club meets on February 4th at 1:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the Schwartz Room in Building 5. There is still time to check out one (or two or three or four!) of these new books to read over Thanksgiving Break. Books are a great conversation started at dinner and a great way to get some peace amidst the hectic Thanksgiving hubbub. We have SO MANY great new books that I can't include all of them.
