As Early Voting begins today in North Carolina, the library has a display of resources about voting rights and history to remind us of the importance of casting our ballots. It's Election Day!
Happy Election Day, y'all! It may not be a presidential election year, but municipal elections matter, too! In order to vote today, you'll need to go to your assigned polling place and can vote until 7:30 p.m.-- if you're in line at 7:30 p.m., no matter how long the line may be, you can cast your ballot. What We're Reading: Soulless
This book was read by Courtney Bippley who is a Reference Librarian at the Main Campus Library. Why did you choose to read this book? I’m doing the POPSUGAR reading challenge this year so I read this book to fulfill the steampunk novel requirement. What did you like about it? I enjoyed the main character who, unmarried, is considered to be a spinster but never lets that stop her from doing what she wants. She is a heroine who is very direct in thought, speech, and action, which is refreshing
