Since 1993, the Durham Tech Foundation has led the annual employee giving campaign known as the Campus Fund Drive. Every dollar raised goes directly to support students and staff through the Campus Harvest Food Pantry, emergency financial assistance, employee engagement and appreciation, professional development, and student scholarships.
Donate Books for Kids! The Library and Center for College and Community Service are co-sponsoring a Book Drive for local nonprofit, Book Harvest, that began Monday and runs through Friday, April 1st. Book Harvest collects new and gently used children's books for triangle families who need them. Collection bins are located in the library on Main Campus and at the Orange County Campus, as well as in the Food Pantry, Phillips Building, room 310C. Book Harvest needs books for young children

The Library and Student Government Association are hosting craft workshops this spring semester. We made felted wool creations last week. All workshops are from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Library’s Group Study Area room 105A on the lower level. We hope you'll mark your calendars to join us for all of the events. Why did you choose to read this book? I’m planning on attending the Durham Reads Together event, An Evening With Sarah Vowell, and I wanted to read one of her books first to get a feel for who she is and her perspective on history. It will be at the Carolina Theater on October 9th, 7:00 PM. It's free! What did you like about it? I like that it made history accessible. Historical non-fiction is outside of my normal reading wheel house but the book is written as a narrative and she does a good job
