The College’s infrastructure is an organizational structure governed by the Council on Committees and comprised of the Faculty Association, Staff Association, Student Government Association, and several councils.
SaVE requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs (covering virtually every campus in the United States) to increase transparency about the scope of sexual violence on campus, guarantee victims enhanced rights, provide for standards in institutional conduct proceedings, and provide campus community wide prevention educational programming.

Policies and Procedures Manual: Durham Tech adheres to investigative steps when addressing issues covered under the provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII) or Title IX of the Higher Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX).
Since 1993, the Durham Tech Foundation has led the annual employee giving campaign known as the Campus Fund Drive. Every dollar raised goes directly to support students and staff through the Campus Harvest Food Pantry, emergency financial assistance, employee engagement and appreciation, professional development, and student scholarships.
