Have you signed up for Durham Tech's First Virtual Open House? The 3-hour event will take place on Wednesday, June 2 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm and will provide information on College Admission, Financial Aid, Career Services, Student Support Services, and various other areas of the college. Every summer, AudioFile's Sync summer "reading" program provides free weekly downloads of two audiobooks: one contemporary YA book and one work of classic literature that relates to the same theme. The new season of free downloads starts on Thursday, May 7 with Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl and Daphne Du Maurier's Rebecca. May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month. Click read more to check out some awesome reads by and about Asian and Pacific Islander Americans from our in-person collection and from our Dogwood Digital Collection of ebooks and audiobooks. Nonfiction and poetry on display at the Main Campus-- Other books by AAPI authors in our collections-- Dogwood Digital books can be downloaded and read through the Libby app, just like your local public library (though our holds list is likely much shorter).

Remember that your Durham Tech Library card is valid at all Durham Tech Library locations and you can request to pick up a book from another campus at your home campus (though you're always welcome to come visit).
