If you have walked by the Main Campus Library recently you may have seen our new display in our front window. Courtesy of Cambiando Caminos the display is for Diá de Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Observed from October 31st to November 2nd, this holiday is often affiliated with Halloween in the United States. Held both on our Main Campus and our Orange County Campus, Crafternoons are opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to take a minute to make something with others from their Durham Tech community. The Library and Student Government Association are hosting craft workshops this spring semester. We made felted wool creations last week. All workshops are from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Library’s Group Study Area room 105A on the lower level. We hope you'll mark your calendars to join us for all of the events. The Durham Tech Library is here to support your reading goals with the Above Average Reading Challenge: 20 Books in 2020. How to I participate? To participate, you just start reading! You don’t have to sign up and you can start and finish at any point in 2020. Twenty books is roughly one book every two weeks if you want to space this out
