Now that NaNoWriMo has started, here are a few books at the library that can help get the creative juices flowing. Here are tips, tricks, and advice from writers of both fiction and nonfiction. Did you know that the Durham Tech Library has a whole collection of children's picture books? Well, we do! They are located against the wall on the lower level of the library. We have classics, awards winners, and freshly published titles for you check out. My personal favorites are the ones with dragons in them. Dragons are great. Come by and check some out. I bet someone wants you to read to them!
Thinking about coming to the book club? There's still time! The Durham Tech Library Book Club meets on February 4th at 1:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the Schwartz Room in Building 5. We're reading Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates and you can check out a copy from our library, or get your own copy elsewhere. Can't finish the book in time? Come anyway!
