Welcome to the Durham Tech Library blog! I have been a librarian at Durham Tech since October 1989. In the past year, we have made significant improvements to the library space. Some of these, such as a library classroom and better soundproofing, have been needed since the library opened in 1987. Welcome back from Summer vacation. While you were gone the library has added a lot of DVDs to our circulating collection. All of them are available for check out a week at a time. Did you know that the Durham Tech Library has a whole collection of children's picture books? Well, we do! They are located against the wall on the lower level of the library. We have classics, awards winners, and freshly published titles for you check out. My personal favorites are the ones with dragons in them. Dragons are great. Come by and check some out. I bet someone wants you to read to them!
