Thanksgiving @ Your Library
Thanksgiving is just a little over a week away! For yours truly, this holiday is about the three fs: family, food and football! I will enjoy the day cooking and visiting with my relatives while watching my beloved Carolina Panthers take on the Dallas Cowboys. Speaking of football, CQ Researcher recently published an in-depth report titled NFL Controversies. Chief among the issues it highlights is the occurrence, detection and prevention of concussions among players. The main campus library also
Library Staff Picks!
The end of 2019 is approaching so now is the time to look at what we've read and watched this year and determine the best of the best. We've chosen some of our favorite books and movies from our collection that we read or watched this year to highlight in a display inside the library. I'd like to give a shout out to one of my personal favorites from this year: Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men By Caroline Criado Perez This book made me angry on every page and I'm so glad
