In the 1960's and 1970's, many soul, funk, and R&B performers lived and worked in Durham, NC. More than 40 groups recorded singles and full-length albums in this time period. NC LIVE recently announced the addition of 495 titles to its HomeGrown e-books collection. The new titles come from five publishers, including The University of North Carolina Press. The HomeGrown collection has grown to include 3,600 e-books, which are hosted on the BiblioBoard platform. They are organized into "curations": fiction, nonfiction and young adult/juvenile titles. We had our first few days of fall, which means in addition to warm beverages, I'm also thinking about settling into a series of books to cozy up with (and also to complete one of the categories of the 2020 Read Great Things Challenge: A book that is part of a series).
