Every summer, AudioFile's Sync summer "reading" program provides free weekly downloads of two audiobooks: one contemporary YA book and one work of classic literature that relates to the same theme. JSTOR is a digital library including thousands of academic journals, books, and primary source documents in the humanities, social sciences, sciences and math. You can search using keywords in their search box, like this search on “Alice Walker”… or you can browse content by subject area, by title, or by publisher. NC LIVE, North Carolina’s statewide public and academic library consortium, has added 980 new ebooks to Home Grown, a collection of fiction and nonfiction works from North Carolina-based publishers. The new additions were purchased with the generous donations of North Carolina libraries and feature a wide variety of titles, including novels by popular North Carolina authors, poetry, young adult, short stories and nonfiction. Readers may enjoy new titles such as And West is West by Ron Childress

The library has a display on the lower level of medical memoirs written from the perspective of patients, nurses, doctors, and health care workers. We also feature a few related DVDs as well. A few of these titles are at the Orange County campus. Just let us know if you want to have a title sent over to your campus.
