Online Course Orientation
Each online class has a course-specific orientation, which explains how that particular class works.
Manicuring (Continuing Education)
The 300-hour course teaches the art of caring for the hands and feet. After successfully completing the course, the students will be able to sit for the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art's exam to be a licensed Manicurist.

Pharmaceutical Science
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate science degree in a Pharmaceutical Science program would complete the Associate in Science (AS) degree. Curriculum courses focus on courses such as biology, chemistry, engineering, geology, mathematics, or physics.
News: Durham Tech Foundation named 2019 Bank of America Neighborhood Builder
Bank of America has selected Durham Technical Community College Foundation as one of this year’s two Neighborhood Builder award winners.
The Foundation will be awarded $200,000 over the next two years towards various projects undertaken by the Center for College and Community Service as well as leadership training.
Associate in Fine Arts in Visual Arts
The Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) is intended for students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate fine arts degree (BFA or BAFA) within four years. AFA curriculum courses focus on visual arts but the degree also includes general education offerings that emphasize the development of analytical skills, written and oral communication, and competencies in math and science.
News: Durham Tech takes first place in engineering competition for second consecutive semester
The Durham Technical Community College team placed first in the Rube Goldberg Engineering 150 Competition on Saturday.
More than 80 teams, including five from Durham Tech, competed for the top spot and a $700 cash prize. The competition was hosted by Wake Technical Community College.
