The temporary pedestrian walkway connecting the north and south areas of Main Campus will be closed beginning today, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, to address inconsistencies with ADA compliance. During this time, access across campus will be available through the original walkway that led to Building 10 that is close to the Lawson Street bus stop. This walkway will remain open while modifications are completed.

Geological Technician
Geological Technicians test and analyze samples to determine their content and characteristics, using laboratory apparatus or testing equipment.
Center for Academic Excellence
The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) provides curriculum students at Durham Tech with the academic support they need to be successful.
Counseling Services
Counseling Services is committed to student success, and its counselors realize that pressure and difficulties affect academic performance. Staff members are available to meet with students individually to discuss a wide range of personal concerns.
Accessibility Services
Durham Tech provides accessibility services designed to create equal access to the many aspects of education. Students have the opportunity to voluntarily self-identify with the College as having a disability or medical condition that may impact access to programs and activities.
Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk
Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerks operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
Electrician
Electricians plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
Clinical Research Coordinator
Clinical Research Coordinators maintain required records of study activity including case report forms, drug dispensation records, or regulatory forms.
Medical Assistant
Medical assistants obtain and record patient’s medical history and vital statistics, draw blood, prep the patient for examination, and perform routine lab tests.
Licensed Practical Nurse
LPNs care for patients in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, and group homes and may work under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Maintenance Technician
A maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of a facility, such as an apartment building or business office.
