Summer Success Academy
Learn the steps to a successful college experience at Durham Tech.
- Introduction to Guided Career Pathways
- Meet with Success Coaches to begin academic/career planning
- Meet with deans, faculty, instructors and other college administrators
- Support with the financial aid process
- Support with the Residency Determination Service (RDS) process
- Receive wrap-around services
- Free tutoring
- Durham Tech swag bag plus prizes and Visa gift card (Must attend 32 hours to be eligible)
- Opportunity to experience campus life before the start of Fall Semester 2023
Open to: Durham, Chapel Hill/Carrboro, Orange county residents who are graduating seniors, graduating high school seniors from neighboring counties, or high school equivalency graduates who will be entering college for the first time, who plan on attending Durham Tech starting Fall Semester 2023.
Location: Durham Technical Community College, Main Campus, Collins (Building 2), room 178. View map and directions
Dates: Monday, July 10 Thursday – July 13, or Monday, July 17 Thursday – July 20, 9 a.m. -2 p.m. with a lunch break (lunch is provided). Students must attend the entire week. The camp is free but participants must provide their own transportation.
