This course includes instructional content for Fire Detection & Suppression Systems and Fire and Life Safety Initiatives. This course will present the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and ability to satisfy the requirements of NFPA 1001: Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications (2019 edition). This course should be offered consistent with the most current NC Fire and Rescue Commission guidelines; contact the Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) for details.
