SEC-3100C Introduction to Cybersecurity

This course introduces a variety of topics to build students skills and provide a broad foundational knowledge of networks and cybersecurity, and how they relates to information security and the Internet. The course introduces networking devices, technology concepts, characteristics of cyber crime, security principles, technologies, and procedures to defend networks. Students will learn how networks are set up, how devices are configured, how communication takes place on a network, and how to build technical and professional skills to pursue careers in cybersecurity.
