COS-3101MB Manicurist II

Manicurist II is the second of two courses in the Manicurist program and will cover subjects such as applying artificial nails such as acrylic and gel nails, infection control, anatomy and physiology, electricity and business. Students will be able to apply their new skills by working on clients in the student salon clinic. Completion of both courses in the program will educate students in the theoretical and practical skills, the safety precautions and measures, and the proper infection control and disinfection procedures. The proficiencies acquired will prepare the student to achieve licensure in the state of North Carolina and obtain an entry-level position in manicuring or in a related field.
