This Technical Rescuer (TR) Confined Space block course will present the TR with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to satisfy the requirements of Chapter 7 (Confined Space) of NFPA 1006: Standard for Technical Rescue Professional Qualifications. This block includes all four required parts of the Technical Rescuer (TR) Confined Space certification course series as outlined by the NC Fire and Rescue Commission: TR Confined Space Rescue Operations, Confined Space Rescue Rigging, Confined Space Hazard Control, and TR Confined Space Victim Management. The "TR Confined Space Block Course" transfers as one "all or nothing" block to the Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM). Students must successfully complete all parts to receive certification credit for this block course.
