News: Durham Tech Chief Operations Officer named to national association commission
Dr. Susan Bowen, Durham Tech vice president and chief operations officer, has been appointed by the Board of Directors of the American Association of Community Colleges to serve on the Commission on Institutional Infrastructure and Transformation.

News: Statement from President J.B. Buxton on Durham County 2022-23 approved budget, 2022 bond referendum resolutions
The Durham County Board of Commissioners passed the 2022-23 budget Monday night. The budget includes an increased scholarship opportunities for Durham Tech students, stipends for participants in the BULLS biotechnology initiative, and a three-year commitment for 911 Academy funding, among other operational expenses. In addition to the budget, the Board approved a bond referendum for this year for a new health sciences building, a life sciences training facility, and property acquisition funding.
Restorative Dental Technology - Fixed Prosthodontics Beginning Certificate
The Fixed Prosthodontics Beginning Certificate is comprised of four courses. Upon completion, students should be able to fabricate advanced fixed restorations.
911 Training (Continuing Education)
The training prepares individuals for employment within an Emergency 911 Telecommunications Center.
Testing Accommodations
Assistance with testing accommodations is provided to instructors who cannot provide the accommodation of the extended time and/or distraction-reduced environment because of scheduling conflicts.

IT and Cloud Systems Administration AAS
The Association in Applied Science (AAS) program curriculum prepares students to install, configure, and support an organization’s Internet-connected workstation and server systems; analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate software and service installations; and plan, implement, and monitor networking, compute, and storage systems with virtualization and Cloud platforms.
