Citation Workshops for students at the Durham Tech Library ERC Computer Lab classroom 52 Wed. Mar. 21st 5:30-6:45 p.m Tues. Apr. 3rd 12:30-1:45 p.m. Wed. Apr. 11th 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Workshop Objectives: -Learn to determine why, when, and how to cite sources -Learn to locate and follow proper citation guidelines for MLA and APA formats -Learn how to avoid plagiarism -Practice creating citations No pre-registration is required but each workshop is limited to the first 30 participants

We now have two great online guides for finding movies in the library's collection. One guide is for browsing titles by movie genre such as Action, History, Sports, etc... and the other is an alphabetical listing of films in our collection. We hope you'll discover lots of films that you want to watch. Thanks to our library staff member, Lauren Havens, for all of her hard work creating these new resources. The Durham Tech Library staff is heartbroken to announce the death of Rachel Smith, our Northern Durham Center Librarian and off-site library liaison. We are shocked and devastated, and in addition to feeling Rachel's loss at our college, we are incredibly sad for her family’s loss. Rachel joined our Durham Tech Library team in January 2020. In addition to our computers upstairs, our main campus (ERC) library is glad to be able to offer a computer lab that is open to all current Durham Tech students! In the ERC lab, which is down the stairs inside the library and immediately to the right, our lab monitors offer technical support, a scanner is available, and you can print up to 10 black and white pages for free each day. Subsequent black and white pages are 5 cents each, and all color copies are 25 cents each. The lab is available to
