DVDs New in February
We have new DVDs in the Main Campus library. These are just some of the great titles available for check out! Click on the pictures to read a description of the movie and watch the trailer. Your voice, your vote
As Early Voting begins today in North Carolina, the library has a display of resources about voting rights and history to remind us of the importance of casting our ballots. There are also excellent ebooks in ebrary and streaming video in Films on Demand. Visit the NC Voter Guide to locate early voting places, your polling location, and more. We welcome all of you back to Durham Tech for our spring semester 2012. Don't forget, you will need your Durham Tech student ID both to use reserves (these are mostly textbooks available for library use only) and to check out materials to take home. Books on the screen!
So many great books are hitting the screen this fall, either as TV shows or movies. Many are already out or available on streaming platforms. Here are a few book adaptations that we're looking forward to watching or are currently enjoying. If you would like to read one of these but it's not available at our libraries, you may request it through Interlibrary loan. Happy reading and watching!

Durham Tech's chapter of NCPIRG Students is sponsoring an Open Education Meet & Greet today, on the main campus, in room 2-159. Instructors are invited to stop in and explore Open Textbook options, share best practices, and enjoy light refreshments.
