Physical and Health Education
Students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in Physical Education should complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree which will transfer to all UNC System schools, most North Carolina independent colleges and universities, and most out of state institutions.
Paramedic (Continuing Education)
Advance your career with Durham Tech's Paramedic Program in NC. Gain skills in prehospital emergency care and prep for the state or national certification exam.
EMS Instructor (Continuing Education)
Online and hybrid courses are offered in Emergency Medical Services Instructor Methodology, EMS Education and Administration Course, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor, NAEMT Instructor (PHTLS, AMLS, EPC), American Heart Association BLS Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor, and Online Pre-Hospital Preceptor.
EMS Professional Training (Continuing Education)
EMS Continuing Education courses are available for those who need to train, retrain, and update themselves in the field of EMS. The courses are of the highest quality, both in classroom and in field instruction.
Middle Grades Education: Language Arts
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate of arts degree in Middle Grades Education: Language Arts at a four-year college or university would complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree.
Insurance (Continuing Education)
Insurance prelicensing courses prepare students to learn general terms and concepts associated with Life, Accident and Health/Sickness, and Medicare Supplement/Long-Term Care; policy provisions; options and various features; and NC statutes and regulations.
Welding (Continuing Education)
Continuing Education welding courses prepare students for employment in construction and in artistic sculpture and metalwork.
