The Small Business Center at Durham Technical Community College will host the BLK BIZ SUMMIT on August 26 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Chesterfield location. The event is free and open to the public.

The new Electrical Line Technician program at Durham Technical Community College was officially launched at an event at the College’s Northern Durham Center campus on Tuesday, Aug. 21.

On Dec. 4, Durham Tech celebrated the life and legacy of prolific artist Elizabeth Reeves Lyon with an opening reception of “A Layered Legacy” art exhibit featuring her work in the D. Thomas Jaynes Gallery on Main Campus. The exhibit is on display until January 31.

The WayMakers: Durham’s Skilled Trades Pathway is funded through $450,000 in grants from the A.J. Fletcher Foundation. Durham Public Schools will receive $300,000, and Durham Tech will receive $150,000.
