Pre-Professional
Pre-Professional programs are selected as a second program to accompany any primary major of the student’s choosing. Any student who selects a pre-professional program should also select an accompanying major.

Food Service Managers monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.

Former Durham Tech student and adjunct professor Paul Weinhold credits an apprenticeship with Novo Nordisk that he attained through the College with getting his foot in the door to a full-time career.
Do Great in 8
Durham Tech is shifting over half of its courses from 16 weeks to eight weeks. Eight-week courses are offered in two consecutive terms during the Fall and Spring semesters. In-person, online, hybrid, and blended formats will be available. A combination of eight-week courses and 16-week courses can be taken at the same time.

The International Students Club (ISC) is an organization developed to encourage the exchange of information about different cultures through regular meetings and other activities. 
Middle Grades Education: Language Arts
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate of arts degree in Middle Grades Education: Language Arts at a four-year college or university would complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree.

Dual enrollment is a unique educational opportunity that allows high school students to enroll in college-level courses while still attending high school. It offers a bridge between secondary and postsecondary education, giving students a taste of college life and academics before officially starting their higher education journey.

Students have several paths to a bachelor's degree in Birth to Kindergarten education.
