The Durham Tech Foundation Scholarship Application is now open! Apply by Wednesday, April 15 to be considered for over 200 scholarships.
Textbooks and Course Materials
Durham Tech has partnered with BibliU, a leader in academic and campus store solutions, to make course materials more affordable and accessible.
Students will have access to digital course materials directly through Canvas on the first day of class. Some course materials may still need to be purchased from the bookstore if they are not available in a digital format.
Students are charged a flat fee of $78 per digital textbook, added directly to the student's bill each term. Digital textbooks cost up to 50% less than traditional options, providing students with lower-priced course materials.
Opt-Out Flexibility and Print Materials
Students who prefer not to use digital materials may opt out each semester.
- Opt-out must be completed before the course drop deadline
- The opt-out deadline will appear in Canvas
- Opting out applies to all classes for that semester (students cannot opt out of individual courses)
- Students who opt out are responsible for sourcing their own course materials
Dual Enrollment Students
Dual enrolled students are not able to order textbooks through this website.
- Self-paying dual enrolled students should carefully review their Durham Tech email for instructions on how to purchase textbooks
- Students sponsored by their high schools should follow up directly with their high school for textbook purchasing information
Help and Support
Video tutorials are available from BibliU with more information about using the Equitable Access program. BibliU’s dedicated 24/7 Customer Support Team is also available anytime to assist students.
