NC Central University (NCCU) and Durham Tech have partnered to make it easier and more seamless for students to transfer from Durham Tech to finish their bachelor’s degree at NCCU.
Students will apply to Eagle Connect in their first year at Durham Tech. NCCU will guarantee acceptance of Eagle Connect students upon completion of an approved associate degree at Durham Tech and who meet eligibility and admissions requirements.
Other measures to enrich the experiences and support for academic success of students who apply and are accepted into the Eagle Connect program include the following:
- Engagement with other NCCU-bound transfer students here at Durham Tech while participating in activities and community service.
- Academic advising from both Durham Tech and NCCU.
- Opportunities to use NCCU’s library and attend events on NCCU’s campus while at Durham Tech.
- Waived application fee and assistance with applying to NCCU.
- Eligibility for NCCU’s Community College Transfer Scholarship once you transfer.
