National Student Clearinghouse Metrics
Durham Tech uses National Student Clearinghouse metrics to assess the six-year completion rates of students at the College, benchmarked against other two-year public institutions in the state and nationally. The students included in the cohort are first-time degree-seeking students, of any age, who began their postsecondary studies in the fall term of the cohort year, either full or part time.

State Performance Metrics
Durham Tech uses State Performance metrics to assess student performance, goal completion, and employment success. The Performance Measures for Student Success Report is the North Carolina Community College System’s major accountability document. This annual performance report is based on data compiled during the previous year and serves to inform colleges and the public on the performance of our 58 community colleges.
