Clinical trial assistants assist the clinical team with the preparation, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of clinical documentation and reports according to the scope of work and standard operating procedures. They also assist with periodic review of study files for completeness.
The Clinical Trials Research Associate (CTRA) curriculum prepares individuals to assist investigators and clinical researchers in the initiation, administration, coordination, and management of clinical research studies for the development of new drugs, clinical products, and treatment regimens. Course work includes in-depth study of drug development, federal regulations, good clinical practices, and clinical research processes.
