In January 2023, leading global healthcare company Novo Nordisk donated $6 million to Durham Tech, the largest corporate gift in the College’s history. All students enrolling in a Health Technologies program must complete an English Language Requirement form to verify how the English language requirement has been met. Please see the form for complete information.
Students can earn their Medical Assisting diplomas in four semesters. Coursework covers medical terminology, medical law and ethics, and admin office procedures.
The Durham Tech Northern Durham Center (NDC) offers curriculum courses such as Basic Law Enforcement Training, Criminal Justice Technology, Emergency Management, and Fire Protection Technology. Continuing Education courses include Biotechnology, Fire Service Extension, and Law Enforcement Extension.
The Fixed Prosthodontics Beginning Certificate is comprised of four courses. Upon completion, students should be able to fabricate advanced fixed restorations.
Information Technology Services (ITS) is responsible for installing and maintaining all computers and other networked devices on campus. ITS also manages the College’s network, email systems, Colleague, Microsoft Office 365, Canvas, telephone system, administrative computing system, instructional technologies, and audiovisual equipment.
