Search in hundreds of encyclopedias, dictionaries, subject-specific titles, as well as 200,000+ images and audio files, and nearly 200 videos. This is an excellent resource for finding background information from reference sources. The topic pages have in-depth articles that give a nice overview and explanation of thousands of topics. With the funding we receive, we try to purchase books most needed to support courses being taught at the college, but we can't buy everything that we want and that our very diverse users would like. Did you know that the Durham Tech Library has a whole collection of children's picture books? Well, we do! They are located against the wall on the lower level of the library. We have classics, awards winners, and freshly published titles for you check out. My personal favorites are the ones with dragons in them. Dragons are great. Come by and check some out. I bet someone wants you to read to them!
It's getting dark early and a candle sure does make the evenings more cozy, so why not make your own candle at our final Crafternoon of the Fall 2021 semester?
