App-ly Yourself! Digital Apps for Exploring Durham Tech Libraries
While students and staff can explore the library's website and its many resources on their smartphones and tablets, dedicated standalone apps for these devices can still offer a great deal of flexibility. Users may already be familiar with Libby, which grants Durham Tech users access to the wonderful Dogwood Digital Library collection, which offers popular fiction and non-fiction books. This post highlights a few other apps that provide unique ways of accessing academic materials while on the go

To learn more about this important conversation, the Library has collected some predominantly audio resources to help you continue to educate yourself. NPR's Code Switch podcast features conversations about race and how it impacts all aspects of society and life, all led by journalists of color. Episodes focus on history, books, music, and current events

Click through to read their goals cleverly used to promote some Library services (and see Library staff pet pictures-- I'm not trying to bury the lede too much here). Charlie and George Lewis are excited that their roommate, Orange County Campus

Supporting Every Learner: A Guide to the New Course Accessibility Checker in Canvas

Both of these will take you to the new Course Accessibility Checker. What is the Course Accessibility Checker? You may already be familiar with the Accessibility Checker built into the Rich Content Editor (RCE)

He saw his shadow, meaning six more weeks of winter. In honor of the other Groundhog Day*, we're sharing a few of our books that feature time loops. (*the movie, that is.) Check out these titles available through your Durham Tech Library collections, including the Main Campus, Orange County Campus
