The Business Administration Associate in Applied Science (AAS) curriculum is designed to introduce students to the various aspects of the free enterprise system emphasizing fundamental business skills and knowledge, covering accounting, business law, economics, management, and marketing.
Mechanical Engineering Technologists and Technicians review project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, and objectives, and test nature of technical problems such as redesign.
The Criminal Justice Professional Training Program offers classes to area law enforcement officers. These classes provide re-certification for current skills and opportunities to enhance an officer's skills in new areas. The program offers many specialized classes based upon requests and the needs of the law enforcement agencies we serve.
John Burness, Chair of the Durham Technical Community College Board of Trustees, died on Monday, December 19, at the age of 77.

They analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements to determine their effects on the architectural designs and may supervise and coordinate construction projects.
Central Sterile Processing Technicians serve surgeons by processing and assembling surgical instruments and supporting inventory in operating rooms. Upon completion of this course, students are able to apply the principles of sterilization and disinfection in the workplace as well as knowledge about distribution of instruments, supplies, and equipment.
This course is designed to prepare the student to meet the Advanced EMT credential level in order to work effectively in the chain of the healthcare team.
Maintenance and Repair Workers are responsible for the upkeep of a facility, such as an apartment building or business office.
