Duke’s +Programs are signature, immersive, experiential learning opportunities that engage students in projects across a wide variety of disciplines. This summer Duke offered nine different +Programs in math, history, documentary studies, data, computer science, coding, climate, arts, and applied ethics. Durham Tech is shifting over half of its courses from 16 weeks to eight weeks. Eight-week courses are offered in two consecutive terms during the Fall and Spring semesters. In-person, online, hybrid, and blended formats will be available. A combination of eight-week courses and 16-week courses can be taken at the same time.
Policies and Procedures Manual: Durham Technical Community College (Durham Tech) follows an open-door with guided placement admissions policy as established by the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges (SBCC) and consistent with SBCC code 1D SBCCC 400.2.
They analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements to determine their effects on the architectural designs and may supervise and coordinate construction projects.
