Dr. Wynn's Legacy in the Library
The Library is saddened by the passing of Dr. Phail Wynn, Jr. He was a champion of students and a supporter of the library both during his tenure as President of the College and after. For more than ten years (established in 2007), Dr. Wynn donated funds to establish a special collection based around eight topics he selected consisting of materials that, as per Dr. Wynn's request, "pertain (…) to socially responsible topics…" The topics he selected were the following: Cultural Awareness Global

Reading COLORful Books: A book with a color in the title
Consult your color wheel or box of crayons and choose a book with a color in the title to complete your Read Great Things 2021 Challenge. If you're into double-dipping, we have a lot of really excellent books about race and racial justice that would also count as A book about social justice or equity with black or white in the title. Make Your Own Molecular Models!
Are you taking chemistry and need practice building your own molecules? Both Main and Orange County Campus now have molymod Organic and Molecular Geometry kits available for in-library checkout and use. Stop by the circulation desks for more information.

As Early Voting begins today in North Carolina, the library has a display of resources about voting rights and history to remind us of the importance of casting our ballots. There are also excellent ebooks in ebrary and streaming video in Films on Demand. Visit the NC Voter Guide to locate early voting places, your polling location, and more. Crafternoon Workshops Scheduled for Spring Semester
We're calling all makers, artists, crafters, and those looking to try something new or have fun, to join us for Crafternoon! The Library and Student Government Association are looking forward to hosting our craft workshop series again this spring semester for students, faculty, and staff. Workshops are held in the Library’s Group Study Area room 105A on the lower level of Main Campus Library as well as other campus locations noted below. Workshops will also be held at the Orange County Campus
