History Lives @ Your Library: Celebrate Black History Month

Leon Bradford, a Durham Tech student, has been selected as the Dallas Herring Achievement Award recipient by the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS). This is the first time a student from Durham Tech has been selected for this statewide award.
Middle Grades Education: Social Science
Students who ultimately wish to complete a baccalaureate of arts degree in Middle Grades Education: Social Science at a four-year college or university would complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree.
News: Durham Tech partners with NC MedAssist to provide free over-the-counter medicine to students
NC MedAssist is partnering with Durham Technical Community College to provide students with free over-the-counter medicine. Such items include cough and cold medicine, vitamins, allergy medication, first aid supplies, etc. This partnership comes at a crucial time, when remaining healthy and stopping the spread of germs is more essential than ever.
President’s Emerging Leaders Institute
The President’s Emerging Leaders Institute will provide a cohort of 12 Durham Tech employees with the opportunity to participate in an advanced one-year leadership program that includes a personalized leadership plan and capstone project.
Goodnight Scholars Program
The Goodnight Scholars Program scholarship, valued at up to $21,000 per year, is awarded to approximately 20 transfer students each year.
Translation and Evaluation Services
Translation of transcripts is appropriate when a student is seeking admission only to Durham Tech. For any possible transfer credit, a transcript must be evaluated by one of the evaluation services listed below this section.
Registered Nurses (RN)
Registered Nurses (RN) tend to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled patients through such processes as assessing their problems and needs and maintaining detailed reports and records.
Aggie Commitment Trailblazer Scholars (ACTS) Program
Durham Tech has partnered with NC A&T State University for the Aggie Commitment Trailblazer Scholars (ACTS) Program. The pathway will guarantee admission into an NC A&T STEM program for eligible students.
