News: Middle College High School student earns Associate in Engineering degree, High School Diploma
Durham Tech Middle College High School graduate Fallon Kichman-Heath has already completed two years of College after completing her Associate in Engineering while in high school.

Kichman-Heath is the first Middle College student to earn an Associate in Engineering, which began being offered at Durham Tech in 2016.

Born in China, Kichman-Heath was adopted at 13-months and relocated to Mebane, NC with her parents, and has been in North Carolina ever since. At just 17, Kichman-Heath now has her high school diploma and associate degree.

Kichman-Heath’s older brother introduced her to the Middle College program after he participated in the program.
Resources Center at SBC
The Resource Center at the Small Business Center (SBC) has business books, magazines, newspapers, and other literature filled with valuable information on various business topics, industries, and the local community.
Middle School Teachers
Middle School Teachers prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of states and schools.
Public Health Science
Students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in Public Health Science should complete the Associate in Arts (AS) degree which will transfer to all UNC System schools, most North Carolina independent colleges and universities, and most out of state institutions.
Summer Hours
Policies and Procedure Manual: Durham Tech operates on a modified schedule during the summer. Public access to College offices is limited to the hours listed for the current Summer Term in the HelpHub section of the College’s website.
Exercise and Sports Science
Students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science should complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree which will transfer to all UNC System schools, most North Carolina independent colleges and universities, and most out of state institutions.
Proquest Database
ProQuest Central is a database of periodical content that covers more than 160 subject areas. It includes scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, and trade publications.
Incomplete-Emergency (IE) Grade
Students who are assigned the grade of IE during the Spring 2020 semester will have until the last day of the Fall 2020 semester to meet the requirements for Spring 2020 courses.
