I’m doing the POPSUGAR reading challenge this year so I read this book to fulfill the steampunk novel requirement. What did you like about it? I enjoyed the main character who, unmarried, is considered to be a spinster but never lets that stop her from doing what she wants. She is a heroine who is very direct in thought, speech, and action, which is refreshing

We are pleased to add the Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning film Boyhood. The film follows a boy named Mason and his family as he experiences the pleasure and pain of growing up. Notable for being filmed with the same cast over a 12 year period, we can watch as the actors themselves grow with the roles they play. Nearly fifty years ago, in 1973, the Supreme Court legalized the right to abortion access through Roe v. Wade. This past June, the Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade ruling.
