Thinking about coming to the book club? There's still time! The Durham Tech Library Book Club meets on February 4th at 1:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the Schwartz Room in Building 5. We're reading Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates and you can check out a copy from our library, or get your own copy elsewhere. Can't finish the book in time? Come anyway! All of the library staff would like to extend their congratulations to the Durham Tech Class of '15! Here's the information you need to prepare for and participate in DTCC commencement activities. Note that you have to purchase your graduation outfit by May 14, attend rehearsal (this is required!) for the graduation ceremony on May 18 at 10:30 a.m. and show up for the actual ceremony on May 18 at 4 p.m. It has been a pleasure to work with you. The world lost Dr. Phail Wynn Jr. in 2018 but his legacy in the Durham Tech Library is expanding regularly thanks to a generous donation from GlaxoSmithKline to establish the Dr. Phail Wynn, Jr. Library Endowment. Give us a call or stop by to see if we have something that can help you out for the summer semester! Remember that we offer our regular library services over the summer as well, including research and citation help, inter-library loan, book check-out, a computer lab, and upstairs printing for $.05 a page.
