Natural Hair Care Specialist is a 300-hour course designed to teach students how to care for natural hair without the use of chemicals and hair color. The style techniques include braiding, twisting, wrapping, extending, and locking natural hair.

Haley Attix, Haleema Begum, and Amber Golden-Parker were notified earlier this month that they were among the 48 finalists for North Carolina State University’s prestigious Goodnight Scholars program – Transfer Class of 2024.
Aaron and Alexa Lawrence established a scholarship last year to benefit first-generation college students, international students, and adult learners at Durham Tech. The scholarship provides one student annually with $1,000 to help offset tuition costs and textbooks.
