Durham Tech Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association is the voice of the community college student.
Computer Programmers
Careers: Computer programmers create, modify, and test the code and scripts that allow computer applications to run.
ESL Information
Classes offer practice in the four main language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The classes are divided into levels for beginners, low intermediate, high intermediate, and advanced levels.
Clinical Research Assistants
Clinical Research Assistants assist the clinical team with the preparation, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of clinical documentation and reports according to the scope of work and standard operating procedures. They also assist with periodic review of study files for completeness.
Correctional Officers and Jailers
Correctional Officers and Jailers monitor conduct of prisoners according to established policies, regulations, and procedures, to prevent escape or violence.
Community Engagement Programs
Community Engagement Programs (CEPs) encompass a variety of programs that can be offered on-campus, off-campus, or in a remote learning environment. This procedure outlines the process to submit a CEP proposal for review.
Biological Technicians
Biological Technicians conduct research or assist in the conduct of research, including the collection of information and samples, such as blood, water, soil, plants and animals.
Dietitians and Nutritionists
Dietitians and Nutritionists assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
Environmental Scientists and Specialists
Environmental Scientist provide scientific or technical guidance, support, coordination, or oversight to governmental agencies, environmental programs, industry, or the public.
Carpenter Helpers
Carpenter Helpers clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.
