Honors Program Faculty Expectations
Faculty members teaching students who have designed Honors Option Projects that have a community service aspect are expected to perform the certain tasks.
Occupational Therapy Assistants
Occupational therapy assistants work alongside occupational therapists to restore clients back to their normal functioning.
Apprenticeship for Employers
Durham Tech apprenticeship connects employers with qualified job-seeking students. Once hired, students gain practical, hands-on experience through their training, and employers gain a dedicated employee.
Strategic Planning Process

Physicians, Family Medicine
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
Corporate Services
Corporate Services offers continuing education and training to meet the needs of area businesses, industries, and other organizations. Staff also can provide assistance in doing workforce assessment.
Withdrawal-Emergency (WE) Grade
The WE grade will be assigned in cases where students are not able to continue in a course due to extenuating circumstances related to COVID-19.
Veterinarians
Veterinarians treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.
Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians
Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians provide airway management interventions including tracheal intubation, fiber optics, or ventilatory support.
Clinical Research Coordinators
Clinical Research Coordinators maintain required records of study activity including case report forms, drug dispensation records, or regulatory forms.
