This six-semester Associate in Applied Science (AAS) curriculum is designed to prepare or upgrade individuals to safely service, maintain, repair, or install equipment. It covers such topics as DC/AC electricity, motors and controls, PLC, hydraulics, and plumbing. Students graduate with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
Eligible student parents earning their degree, diploma, or certificate can receive a grant for some of their child care expenses.
On Sept 19, 2023, Durham Technical Community College launched its President’s Emerging Leaders Institute, which will identify and develop emerging leaders for growth and advancement within the College now and in the future. Holly June has been on all sides of the student experience – from a student herself to a professional, to a teacher and then a teacher of teachers. She lives her mantra – to leave no road untraveled – through her work as an advisor, crafter, blogger, business owner and the new Director of Advising at Durham Tech.
