Enrollment Steps for Post-Baccalaureate Degree Students
Visiting students who already have a bachelor's degree are able to take classes at Durham Tech without pursuing another degree. Follow our enrollment steps:
- 1. Complete an Online Application
Complete an Online Application to the College (CFNC).
During the application, select the Visiting Student Post Baccalaureate choice in the drop down box.
Students are required to submit evidence of residency status when completing a college application. The process is completed online through the Residency Determination Service (RDS).

- 2. Submit Official College Transcripts
There are two options for submitting transcripts:

Lawson Street, Durham, NC, 27703-5023 - Request electronic transcripts through an approved transcript service such as ACT, CFNC, College Board, Joint Services Transcripts, National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, ScribOnline and Script-Safe. List transcripts@durhamtech.edu as the recipient address.

- 3. Meet with an Academic Advisor
Students must meet with an advisor every semester before registering for courses. Find your academic advisor and view options for meeting.

- 4. Register for Courses and Pay Tuition
Register and pay for courses in Self-Service.
View information about enrollment due dates. If you are unable to submit your official transcript by the enrollment due date, you will miss early registration.
Post-baccalaureate students often request the following courses for graduate or professional school applications:

Note: Science classes fill quickly. Students must meet prerequisites in order to register for any courses.
